T McKinley

Rev. T McKinley is a teacher, writer, and interspiritual minister. His previous book, "Boy in the Ivy: The Inner Child of a Buried Man," is a memoir of depression, suicide loss, and his own path to healing. His second book, Reclaiming My Spirit: Beyond the God of Shame," explores the ways in which traditional images of God can promote rage, disconnection, and self-loathing. In response, McKinley developed a system of spiritual practices and techniques to discern, deconstruct, and replace his own God of Shame.

Rev. T speaks out about his journey with depression and his own spiritual healing. He has presented at the 2015 Parliament of the World's Religions in Salt Lake City, Utah, the 2015 and 2016 Women & Spirituality conferences in Mankato, Minnesota, as well as at churches, high schools, and colleges around the country.

With his life partner, Swami Vidyananda, Rev. T is the co-founder of My Spirit, a community that offers guidance, practices, and encouragement to seekers ready to forge their own unique connection to Source, Spirit, and Oneness.
