Ernest Chambers wrote the stage musical version of “Dennis The Menace” and was Executive Producer of the feature film, starring Walter Matthau. He has had a long and successful career as Producer-Writer of TV shows with stars such as Danny Kaye, Dick Van Dyke, The Smothers Brothers, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Carol Channing and Barry Manilow, to name a few. He has been nominated 11 times for an Emmy Award and twice for The Writers Guild Award. He currently writes a weekly blog, "50 YEARS AMONG THE STARS", about his career and the stars he has worked with.
