Jae lives in northern California with her family, pets, and horses.

Her husband is A 5th generation Native American logger.

Ranching, and traditional gathering of food and medicines shaped her life and gives her a rich source of story material.

Living with Native American loggers also contributes to Jae’s novels.

Sharing local history, her forest world, and horse experiences through books is her dream come true.
