Carl was born in St Louis Mo, in 1951.Carl, along with his Mother, and two younger siblings moved to Detroit Michigan in 1966. Carl left behind in St Louis two older brothers ,and sisters who would join him in Detroit a few years later. Carl attended Martin L King High School in Detroit,and graduated from there in 1971. Carl was blessed with a golden voice and was a member of a popular vocal group in Detroit in the early seventies.He married in 1973,and he and his new bride moved back to St Louis in 1974.Carl was accepted in the St Louis Police Academy that same year. After graduating from the Academy Carl worked in the Law Enforcement,and Retail Industry for over thirty years.Now retired this is Carl first book ,and now he has plenty of time to write many more.
