Janene E Nielsen

Janene Nielsen is a freelance journalist and public affairs media director for a non-profit group. Her debut novel The Burying Man (2013), which she co-authored with her father Cleudis Robbins, has been called "a love song to Appalachia." The Burying Man is a haunting tale of murder and intrigue, nestled in the almost forgotten world of old Appalachia where Nielsen's roots run deep with much of her extended family still residing in the same place her ancestors inhabited for hundreds of years. She is currently working on a sequel to The Burying Man.
