Sue Phillips, CEO Scenterprises Inc.,™ and founder of The Scentarium, was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and inherited her creativity from her mother, Grace Phillips, a renowned artist and calligraphist (www.2marvelous4words.com) and her business acumen from her father Eric, a self-made businessman. Sue came to America in 1977 to pursue her love of acting and singing, and her parents settled in San Diego. Sadly, her mother was afflicted with Dementia and Alzheimer’s and because of Sue’s love with Fragrance, has presented many Fundraising initiatives for Alzheimer’s and has written articles and blogs for beauty and lifestyle magazines. Her book “The Power of Perfume” – How to Choose it, Wear it & Enjoy it is a culmination of all the knowledge she has gained over the last 40+ years, questions from her clients and articles she has written. A percentage of sales will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.

Sue has had a distinguished career in the Cosmetic and Fragrance Industry, and has held senior positions at Elizabeth Arden, Lancôme, Paris and Tiffany & Co., where, as Vice President of Marketing, she developed and launched the first Women’s and Men’s Fragrances, TIFFANY and TIFFANY FOR MEN.

Phillips formed SCENTERPRISES ™ a global marketing & branding company in 1990 and has developed innovative fragrances for companies such as Avon, Banana Republic home products, Bath & Body Works, Burberry, Trish McEvoy and Origins.
