Jerry Wyant

Jerry Wyant grew up in the small town of Eagleville, Missouri and received a BSBA degree in Economics from the University of Missouri. He currently resides in Creston, Iowa with wife Linda and daughter Lillie. He has work experience in many industries, including supervising the institutional accounting department for Capital Group Inc. in Los Angeles, California.

Jerry has spent several years volunteering his time to go online and help students in economics courses from schools located throughout the world. Along the way, he created the website www.economicsonlinetutor.com; the facebook pages "Economics Online Tutor", "Making Education Work", and "Occupy: Voices of a Movement".

Jerry is the author of "Basic Economics for Students and Non-Students Alike" and is currently working on a book of original methods and thought in the field of Economics with the goal of finding a "better way" for the general public to understand the logic and realities of economics without resorting to common misconceptions and political rhetoric.
