Lois Cole

Lois Cole was born in Akron, Ohio from a family of English and Scottish immigrants from the 1770's. She grew up on a farm near Medina, Ohio. She is from a family of eight children. She developed a love of reading from a very young age. She moved to Houston, Texas in 1978. For twenty years, she taught elementary and middle school in the great Houston area. Her first book, "Spirit of Torenia," was published in 2013. The book is loosely based on family memories from her childhood.
