Helen Vanderberg grew up in England in a household headed by her benevolent grandfather during wartime. She wore many names, worked in Europe, until she surfaced in California writing technical manuals for computer firms. She loves flowers and books, boats and sunshine and the England of memory. Her chief diversion is story-making and asking "What If" as she travels down the hallways of memory taking notes.
She is a member of California Writers Club, Toastmasters International, and the Red Hat Society. The truth: she’s an introvert, a solitary traveler by training and disposition, a trait that allows her to absorb the scintillating magic of the world around her. Her best friends live in books.
