Heidi White

Heidi White has a doctorate in philosophy from the New School for Social Research and a master's degree in the history of ideas from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is twice recipient of the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) for study at the University of Leipzig and the Karls-Eberhard University in Tubingen. She teaches philosophy and intellectual history at New York University's Global Liberal Studies Program, where she also serves as the chair of the Politics, Rights, and Development concentration. She is a recipient of the NYU Distinguished Teaching Award and is a former U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer.
