Samir Arora

Samir Arora is the publisher and editor of the Foodie Guides and the Top 100 restaurants, chefs, sommeliers awards.

Samir grew up in a multi-generational family food and restaurant business, then worked in the arts in theater, TV and music before joining Apple Computer in the 1980s and ultimately founding and investing in several Silicon Valley start-ups. He lived in Paris for three years and has studied cha-kaiseki and Zen shojin-ryori cuisine in Kyoto, Japan. He now divides his time between Woodside, California, and New York city, and he likes to spend his weekends planting, growing, sampling, cooking, and tasting food.

Samir is the founder and CEO of Sage Digital, the first AI -driven, global experts curated platform for locations that has created the apps Sage Plus and Sage Plus for Experts. He was the founder and the first investor of Glam Media, one of the Top 10 Media Properties in the US (Glam.com, Tend.com, Foodie.com, Bliss.com, and Brash.com) He is also the Chairman of Information Capital LLC, a venture capital investment fund, since 1997.
