Dan Cohen founded New York City's premier coconut macaroon company, Danny Macaroons, in 2010. The delicious coconut treats can be found in coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, hotels and markets all over New York City, Chicago, and more. They've been been featured in Food & Wine magazine, Serious Eats, Eater, the New York Post, Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post, and Crain's.
Prior to founding Danny Macaroons, Dan helped to found a software company, a sports media company, and a financial literacy not-for-profit. He's won the People's Choice Award at Smorgasburg, New York's biggest artisanal market, 4 Emmy Awards for digital video production, and is a Trustee of the Queens Museum in New York. He grew up on Long Island, NY and graduated from Amherst College with a degree in Fine Art.
