Mihir Chitre

Mihir Chitre (b. 1988) was born, brought up, and is still put up in Mumbai, India. He hates rules as much as he loves Mumbai, meat and fish, cricket, the arts and midnight strolls.

His first literary publication was a poem in a magazine called Enchanting Verses in November 2011, which was followed by eight other magazine appearances by May 2013. India's oldest English literary journal Indian Literature and the American magazine Blue and Yellow Dog are among his publishers.

In September 2012, he was invited by the Sahitya Akademi to read his poetry at an event in Baroda.

Circular, Mihir's first collection of stories, is now available on Kindle.

Professionally, Mihir enjoys being a copywriter at an advertising agency, which earns him bread and butter. It's another story, however, that he'd like to add some ham and mayonnaise to that.
