Patrick James Ryan

Patrick Ryan is from Columbus, Ohio and began seriously writing after college. He is married to Molly and they enjoy the activities of their three children. Patrick is known for writing riveting action scenes in the genres of suspense, thrillers, science fiction and horror. His first publication was the eclectic and popular short story collection, "Blood Verse." Patrick followed up the success of Blood Verse with the number one best seller at Black Bed Sheet Classicss, "The Night It Got Out." He then wrote a 1970's period piece, the novella, "The Maggots Underneath the Porch," a poetry collection titled, "Blood Prose," a sequel to The Night It Got Out: "The Night They Got Out," and a second short story collection, "Out of The Shadows." Most recently, he launched a multi-series collection of novels with the inaugural book: "Demon's Wrath ~ Death in Caguas, A Michael Moretti novel." He plans to write at least 10 books on Michael Moretti and his cohorts as they fight evil across the globe. He is currently working on a third novel to complete The Night It Got Out Trilogy, and over a dozen other projects, including a Martial Arts Biography, a mainstream detective thriller, and some cutting edge horror/sci-fi novels. Patrick enjoys sports, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and most hard rock, and reading great authors. A practitioner of martial arts for over 30 years, he holds a second-degree black belt and is a huge fan of Bruce Lee.
