Julia was born, brought up and educated in England and was recruited as an editor for an English language trade publication in Amsterdam in the early 90’s. She worked in the marketing department of Levi Strauss brand Dockers for 5 years and in 2000 started an intensive 5-year apprenticeship to become a personal development trainer. Since 2001 she has worked with more than 4 thousand individuals in training and coaching programmes. She believes that organisations have a significant role to play as forces for good, by becoming learning grounds for authentic humanness, and by actively encouraging the personal development of their employees. Julia lives in Amsterdam with her husband Robbert and has two grown up sons.
