J H Hood, BA, Dip Ed, NM ran her own company for many years. She has extensive experience across government, the private sector and community organizations: as a senior manager as well as training adults in the workplace in a wide range of management and personal skills.

She has worked with many thousands of people, helping them to build the skills to survive and thrive in the workplace, and to transfer those skills into everyday life.

Her books combine her love of writing with her experience as a teacher and trainer of adults.
