Kenneth A. Camp

I was born in Monterey, California, but I only lived there for a few months. That is because my father was attending the Naval linguistic school. I consider myself a Texan since that is where my family is from, and I have lived here most of my life. In fact I have lived in Texas my entire adult life except for the six months my wife and I lived in Thailand as volunteer missionaries.

I am an author, blogger, and podcaster. My wife and I adopted our son in 2012 through foster care. I write and talk about topics related to foster care, adoption, missions (both local and foreign), non-profit work, and a few others. The common theme is being the hands and feet of Christ in a hurting world.

I currently serve on the board of Fostering Hope Austin, a nonprofit that empowers church leaders and layleaders who want to offer a holistic solution to the foster and orphan crisis and work with other community groups to achieve this goal.

Besides writing, I enjoy working on our property, playing and watching sports, and most of traveling the world.
