Sheryl Clough was born in Spokane, Washington, and has lived her entire life in beautiful Washington State except for the years 1900-1994 when she moved to Alaska to obtain her MFA in creative writing from the U of A at Fairbanks. Skiing alongside moose was a highlight of those years.
Now a resident of Whidbey Island, Sheryl is an editor, photographer, and prize-winning poet. She founded Write Wing Publishing and has edited and published two poetry anthologies under that imprint: "Surrounded: Living With Islands" and "Through A Distant Lens: Travel Poems." These two volumes featured poets from all over the U.S., and one from Australia.
Sheryl's own poems appear in the award-winning chapbook "Ring of Fire, Sea of Stone," available on Amazon.
