Tyree Jonathan Sheppard

Tyree Jonathan Sheppard (1985-Present) was born in Seattle, Washington. He lived there until 2007 and then he moved to Los Angeles, California. He had always wanted to live in Los Angeles since almost drowning there twice when visiting family with his mother and twin brother as a young child. He was enamored and still is with Los Angeles' diversity and vastness and the city heavily influences his writing. He has published one book of poetry and is currently working on his first novel. His writing has been called dark, crass, poignant, and self-deprecating and has been heavily influenced by the likes of Edgar Allan Poe and Charles Bukowski.
