PJ Morvant-Alexander

PJ Morvant-Alexander was born in New Iberia, Louisiana circa 1947. Growing up outside of New Orleans; an area rich with history, ghosts, voodoo, legends of werewolves and vampires and even the occasional U.F.O. sighting, there's little wonder why, having been raised in such a deliciously mystical culture, she would be entirely at home writing about the fantastic and the paranormal.

She spent the first eighteen years of her life in Hurricane Alley and, in spite of being struck by lightning in her early teens, has a deep and abiding love of raging storms - the meaner the better. Her eclectic Sagittarian tastes embrace the arts, theater and music, cooking, crafts, cats, and she gravitates to everything arcane and bizarre.

PJ is an artist who's focus is the whimsical and fantastic. She treasures watching others enjoy the products of her imagination. In addition to writing contemporary thrillers, she is an active member of the Steampunk culture, being particularly fond of the unusual and darker side of the Victorian era and the clockwork inventions of that time period.

Add to this the fact that she is owned by an obnoxious-but-loveable feline and you have the whole picture -- odd though it may be.
