Paul McGarr

Paul McGarr is an author, researcher and teacher in intelligence studies at King's College London. He has published widely on British and American interaction with post-colonial South Asia. His latest book with Cambridge University Press, 'Spying in South Asia: Britain, the United States and India's Secret Cold War', examines covert interventions undertaken by Western intelligence and security services in India after 1947, and considers the impact that these secret operations have had on the political, social and cultural landscape of the subcontinent.
