Dusana Dorjee

Dusana Dorjee, PhD is a psychologist and cognitive neuroscientist. She is an Associate Professor at the University of York where she leads the Well Minds Lab. Her research has three main areas of focus. The first investigates the processes in the mind and brain that underpin mental health and wellbeing and ways these processes can be fostered in schools. The second area of Dusana’s research examines the effects of meditation training on mental health and wellbeing from a neuroscience perspective. Her current research also explores links between mental health and wellbeing and global crises. Dusana authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles and wrote three peer-reviewed books published by Routledge. Her research recently formed the basis for a new mental health and wellbeing curriculum for primary schools in England. She was an advisor for mental health and wellbeing policy initiatives in the UK and internationally.
