Steve French is a self-published indie-author who lives, works, and plays as a full-time, work from home, writer. He has worked pro bono as a freelance journalist and has published several online articles covering a number of subjects. From paranormal to rattlesnakes to writers of weird fiction, Steve French approaches a number of topics with a unique angle and compelling voice.
He is the author of three non-fiction works: Suspects & Sleuths Murder Mystery Design Guide (A Guide for Creating, Writing, and Hosting your own Murder Mystery Dinner Party Games), Zombie Writing 101: How to Write Your Own Zombie Apocalypse Novel, and most recently, Horror Writing 101: How to Write a Horror Novel.
His fiction works include: Sinister Presence (A Supernatural Thriller / Dark Urban Fantasy), They Feed: Bloodborne (A Zombie Apocalypse Novel), and most recently, A Dress In Red (Horror).
Steve French also dabbles with graphic arts, creates his own book covers, and sometimes creates book cover art for other indie-authors.
Steve French has served in the Navy as a Fireman on board the U.S.S. John C. Stennis (CVN-74). He was brought up in a religious background and was part of the Gothic scene for over 10 years. He has worked in Security, Management, Customer Service, and various blue-collar positions over the years.
Now, Steve French is pursuing his life long calling as a full-time writer and author. He lives in the beautiful state of Colorado Springs, Colorado and resides with his dear best-friend, two dogs, and a cat.
