Kathy Stewart

Kathy Stewart was born in South Africa, and she and her husband now live on the Gold Coast, Australia. She has published short stories in three Ten Hands Writing anthologies. Her manuscripts, [The] Chameleon [Factor] and Race Against Time, were shortlisted and longlisted respectively for the 2010 Crime Writers Association Debut Dagger Award in the UK. She is currently working on a historical mystery, The Mark of the Leopard, and the first in her contemporary crime series, Clear Island Murder. She also has two short story collections, Over To You and Star Turn and Other Stories, and has collaborated on a children’s book for pre-schoolers. She was a founder and co-organiser of the Gold Coast Writers’ Festival and is the current convenor of Gold Coast Writers’ Workshops.
