Lori St.John

Lori St John was born in Connecticut to an Assistant Attorney General who instilled in her the love of learning and a passion for justice. An attorney and CPA, Lori graduated from the Rutgers School of Law in the year 2000. Having founded and directed the Innocence Project at the law school, she was bestowed the Eli Jarmel Memorial Prize, a Public Interest Award for "the student demonstrating the greatest interest and proficiency in public interest law." Volunteer work led her to champion the case of an innocent man on death row to an international cause, which drew the support of Pope John Paul II, Mother Teresa, and millions of people around the world, as depicted in her new book, The Corruption of Innocence, a Journey for Justice. An expert in her field, she convened the 50th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights in Florence, Italy where she represented the United States with former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark. Lori loves to travel and enjoys engaging audiences as both an inspirational and educational keynote speaker.
