E.C. McMullen Jr.

E.C. McMullen Jr. is a U.S. Navy veteran whose broadcasting career began as the sole morning radio voice for his Pacific WestPac carrier group.

His first story submitted for publication, the horror tale RATTLESNAKE TIE, was published in BIKER magazine in 1995, leading him to found Feo Amante's Horror Thriller in 1997. The publication grew into the longest continuously operating horror website on the Internet, introducing readers to horror fiction, films, fiction, and filmmakers for nearly three decades.

After working in independent film and television, McMullen returned to Texas to raise his family before turning his attention once again to fiction. Today he is the author of RUMOR, PERPETUAL BULLET, WILLOW BLUE, and GRIM GRINS & MORBID MIRTH. His work blends horror, suspense, science fiction, and dark humor while exploring the resilience, frailty, and contradictions of ordinary people confronting extraordinary circumstances.
