E. Ken Harmon Sr.

Like Solomon, Ken spent a lifetime running from what he describes as an inner emptiness. Raised in the brutal Vineyard Housing Projects, raped as a kid, beaten by an alcoholic step-dad, neglected by an absent mom, the death of four children, a failed suicide attempt, the murder of his doctoral chair, a confessed sex-addict, and the bitterness of a second divorce all attributed to a "chasing the wind" lifestyle: Doing everything but achieving nothing. Until a midwestern baptist pastor, Addis Moore, introduced him to Jesus.

Through his own healing journey, Ken's purpose now is to push people past their pains and wounds to live the life God intended. Ken is a Disabled Veteran and former Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He is also a licensed Clergy/Pastor who has earned his Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies, Bachelors and Masters in Sociology, and dual doctorates in Biblical and Pastoral Counseling. Ken sees himself, and his ministry, Stop Living Wounded, as Christian motivational, inspirational, and equipping center.

Ken is the author of several books to include Broken Vision, and Stop Chasing the Wind. Whether speaking, teaching, writing or caring for the hurting and broken, he focuses on those that are unfocused because of their own hurts, hang-ups, and past wounds.

Ken is a pseudo outdoorsman who resides with his wife of 18 years Tracy, their two daughters, and two dogs in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
