Marshall Messer

Marshall Messer was raised on Long Island and went to Woodstock. He has witnessed more than thirty Belmont Stakes, including the Triple Crown triumphs of Secretariat, Affirmed and Seattle Slew. He has been a cab driver, bartender, garbageman, actor, and teacher, and he has played blues harp at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He lives in Manhattan with his family. Change at Jamaica is his first book.
