Robert Coburn

Robert Coburn is originally from Norfolk, Virginia. After high school in Norfolk (Maury High School), he spent three years in the US Army as a helicopter crew chief with the 6th Infantry Regiment in Berlin, Germany. He returned home to attend college at Richmond Professional Institute (now VCU) in Richmond, Virginia, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. He also met his wife in Richmond while he was a student there. Coburn has worked at major advertising agencies in New York and Los Angeles. His ads have won top awards both nationally and internationally. He is an instrument rated commercial pilot and plays the saxophone. He and his wife now live in Carmel, California.
