Stephen March

Stephen March is the author of five novels, Armadillo, Catbird, Strangers in the Land of Egypt, Hatteras Moon and The Gold Piano, as well as the short story collection Love to the Spirits. Armadillo won the Texas Review Press Prize in the Novella, and Love to the Spirits won the Independent Publisher Award in Short Fiction. Catbird was named a Book Sense Notable by the American Booksellers Association. A singer song-writer, March's two albums are Blue Moon Diner and Twister. He taught at Elizabeth City State University and lived in North Carolina.
