Biography of Carolyn Thomas Temple

Born October 27, 1946, in La Junta, Colorado during the worst blizzard ever recorded in South Eastern Colorado history to a family of five. Graduating from La Junta High School in 1964, Carolyn attended the University of Denver and the Lamont Conservatory of music on academic and music scholarships earning her Bachelor of Arts degree. Carolyn was the only non-music major (her major was Education) to complete a full concert vocal music recital.

In addition, Carolyn has completed numerous graduate courses at Pepperdine University, San Diego State University, and the University of San Diego in Education and Marriage and Family Counseling, and completed a Certified Behavioral Analyst program from Insights International, Inc.

Carolyn's performance record (both on and off the stage) gained her recognitions including:

Accommodation from the U.S. Army, European Theatre - USO Performance;

Letter of Recognition from the New York Metropolitan Opera

Letter of Accommodation and Appreciation from Vestry, St. Philip's Episcopal Church for music leadership;

Letter of Recognition from numerous school families for music leadership and for building and directing the #1 small church choir in the Diocese of San Diego;

Letter of Recognition from principal of St. Rose of Lima School for superior musical Productions as Director, Trainer, Choreographer, and Producer and in-class instruction;

Teaching certifications for the states of California, Colorado, Ohio, and Arizona; and,

Accommodation from Dean of Admissions, University of Denver for outstanding leadership and performance as So. California Representative for Alumni Admissions Board.

Carolyn is also a graduate and former Group Leader for Bible Study Fellowship.

As a performing lead/solo soprano, Carolyn had performances with the Denver Symphony Orchestra, on the Merv Griffin television show, as well as a lead performer with Music Makers of San Diego. She completed three tours as leading lady in musical theater across the South Western United States, and performed/was interviewed on television in Denver, Colorado; also, was interviewed by Radio Free Europe while touring as a leading lady in Europe.

Carolyn is the mother of four sons Tory, Travis, Nate, and Nick; she has been married 44 years, the wife of international career coach, Bill Temple. She and her husband reside in Anthem, Arizona.
