Jan Krause Greene

I’m Jan Krause Greene – writer, activist and lover of the earth. I enjoy storytelling (MOTH style) and performance art. Before the pandemic I hosted the Literary Arts Open Mic for writers, singer-songwriters, storytellers, and performance artists. I've acted in a web-series, yet to be released, and in a short movie that made it to the finals in a film festival. I was a newspaper columnist for ten years, a high school teacher, and the mother of five sons. I always wanted to write a novel - actually I wanted to write The Great American Novel - but when I finally got the free time to write a book, my imagination took me to a different place and a story that surprised even me.

I wrote my second book during the pandemic. It's the true story of one of the most inspiring people I have ever met.

My second novel, The Space Between Dark and Light, was just released this month - February 2023.
