Beth Golden was born in Charleston, WV and grew up in St. Albans, WV. She moved to and graduated from Avonworth High School in Pittsburgh, PA and went on to attend West Virginia University. She later graduated from St. Luke Medical School and holds degrees in Nutrition, Herbology and as a Naturopathic Doctor. She has owned an operated a Wellness Center outside of Tampa FL since 1999 and specializes in weight loss, hormonal balancing and nutrition.
Beth first started with her own weight challenges around age 6 and weighed 150 lbs by age 12. At 21, in the first 6 months of her pregnancy, she ballooned from 128 lbs to 174 lbs in the first 6 months. Being a yo yo dieter her entire life, she finally found refuge in the HCG Diet in 2007. She had such extraordinary success with rapid and lasting results, she was thrilled to be able to finally offer a diet program to her clients that truly worked.
She worked on food plans and recipes for her HCG Dieters and in 2010 launched the Ultimate HCG Diet Cookbook with all her original tried and true, low fat, HCG diet recipes. During this time, she brought groups of HCG Dieters to eat with the famous Chef Chounard and he was kind enough to share some of his amazing recipes in Beth's cookbook.
In 2009, she founded the HCG Diet Council and launched an international HCG Diet training and certification program to Doctors around the world. Since 2007, she has personally worked with 10,000's of HCG Dieters and trained 1000's of Doctor her HCG Diet Protocols. She also formulates and manufactures a complete line of HCG Diet products and homeopathic HCG formulas, as well as a natural, oil-free skincare line called Golden Essence that was awarded Champion status by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics in 2010.
Today, Beth has become known as the HCG Diet Expert and, in addition to her involvement with the HCG Diet, she has a huge following on Facebook, Twitter, HCGDietPlan.com, GoldenEssence.com and is an avid educator of health and wellness and enjoys helping people return and regain positive long-term health.
