Victoria Harr

Victoria (Vicki) Harr is a wife, mother, grandmother and public speaker who has taught the Bible for over 35 years. Although never seriously considering writing a book, after 25 years of others encouraging her, she wrote about her passion, "Spiritual Gifts, A Grandmother's Legacy to Her Grandchildren." After that, she knew she had two more books in her heart, so she authored "A Grandmother's Life, as Told to Her Grandchild," and "Single Mom??? What Now???" Past staff positions include Shiloh Youth Revival Centers, Franky Schaeffer V ("Whatever Happened to the Human Race?"), World Wide Pictures ("Joni"), and the Salvation Army. Currently, she teaches, speaks on various Biblical topics and as a staff member, ministers to single mothers and their children through BLAST, a character-driven extended school-day program in San Diego, sponsored by New Hope Church.

ABOUT "SPIRITUAL GIFTS"

This book began as a letter to my grandchildren, became a manuscript and is my personal journey of how I learned about these supernatural gifts. It focuses on the spiritual gift(s), of which one or more are bestowed on every believer for the building up of the church. It seeks to clarify and eliminate the misunderstanding between a person's natural talents or learned abilities, one's natural temperament or personality, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit versus the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

ABOUT "A GRANDMOTHER'S LIFE"

After I completed SPIRITUAL GIFTS, others asked me to write a fill-in-the-blank grandmother’s book that they could use to pass on their spiritual legacy. This book is a result of those heart-filled requests. I hope it will fill in the gap for those wanting to share their memories and pass on their personal experiences of faith to the next generation.

ABOUT "SINGLE MOM??? WHAT NOW???"

This book was birthed out of my journey as a single mother and begins with how God views single mothers and their children in a very distinctive way. It is different from a parenting book in that it primarily focuses on the single mother’s circumstances, how to triumph over them, and give her hope.
