Jerry Bryan Lincecum

JERRY B. LINCECUM, a sixth-generation Texan, is Emeritus Professor of English at Austin College in Sherman, TX. He has a BA from Texas A&M and MA and PhD degrees from Duke University. As Director of the Telling Our Stories (TOS) program since 1990, Jerry has helped scores of senior citizens write and publish their memoirs in story form. In addition to three scholarly books drawn from the letters and papers of Dr. Gideon Lincecum (Jerry’s great-great-great grandfather), he and his wife, Dr. Peggy Redshaw, created Big Barn Books to publish a dozen anthologies of stories by TOS writers as well as memoirs by individual authors.
