This book series began when my years of marketing and my fascination with people mixed. The book’s characters began to tell me a sweeping story of love, romance and spiritual journey as I stood on my back deck in a snow storm. I believe the biggest surprise to me was the characters’ descriptions of Newport, RI, the surrounding Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Who knew?

“Meeting Journal I” finds Victoria Hamilton living in Newport, RI, finally settled after 3 husbands and 3 grown children. The broker/owner of a posh boutique real estate company on the popular Memorial Boulevard, Victoria can buy her lattes, socialize without obligation and allow herself pleasures when she chooses. Enter James, a new client, a new world, and Victoria’s well organized life begins to spin out of control.

In the second book of this series “Understanding Journal II” Victoria continues to explore a romance that comes with unimaginable baggage, spiritual experiences that would scare the living daylights out of any human, even a stoic Victoria. This book is filled with many truths, actual events and places in Newport, RI. The plots and characters are well developed and continue to tell a complex story of ancient Shamanic powers in modern day life through the eyes of Victoria. Although the story line is captivating as the family attempts to Understand the unique power they possess, I had to bring the sizzle when it comes to Vic’s love story.

“Lessons”, the third book in this series takes Victoria and the family on a journey of self discovery that no-one could envision. Defining their relationships and learning about their unique powers has brought them to a place in time that could change them forever after walking the Earth for hundreds of years. Victoria cannot imagine life without James, but sometimes it’s already written and she is about to find her place within the family.

I will continue the journey with Victoria in books four and five, which I hope to offer preordering in the fall of 2021.
