I grew up on a farm near the small town of Berrien Springs, Michigan. My brother, sisters and I graduated from the same high school as our mother and aunt. I have a business degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the University of Cincinnati. Rather than a traditional legal practice, I spent most of my career as a consultant specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, a career that I loved as it allowed me to travel across the U.S. and meet and work with many amazing people.
My husband and I have traveled to Paris, France, Salzburg, Austria and Munich, Germany. I've also been to parts of Belgium and Slavania. Together we climbed to the top of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and later traveled to China to adopt our daughter.
Currently I write mysteries and teach art classes (metal clay) in Roswell, Georgia where I live with my husband, daughter, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs and two fish.
