Editorial Reviews
"Raw Food for Babies - The Proven Natural Alternative For Happier, Healthier Infants"
The author shares insights in nutritional research and shows how every child can be raised healthly by slowly adding raw food with breastmilk or its natural substitute (raw almond milk or raw grain based cow milk). Every single step to be taken is explained in detail so it is easy to follow. The content of the book is based on German nutritional research and the author's experience as a mother and health consultant.
There are 6 chapters. The first chapter introduces the studies and clinical experience of the German physician Dr M O Bruker which proof the healing effects of raw and whole foods. Chapters 2 and 3 cover in great detail what to feed at what age to breastfed and not-breastfed babies. Chapters 4 and 5 are the recipe section of the book with detailed baby food recipes for the first year of life and recipes for the toddler and the whole familiy. Also meal plans are included. Chapter 6 discusses the ecological impact of nutrition and the advantages of plant based food for human health. Little known information on the vitamin B 12 supply of vegans is shared, recommendations on what and how much to drink, what fats and oils to choose and the health benefits of raw grains are included. You will also learn how to handle allergies, food intolerances and digestive disorders and what to observe when you are a diabetic.
I recommend this book as a guide to every parent who wants to feed their child natural food. All questions are covered.

I read the book because I take care of my grandchildren, and I want to feed them healthy food. This book is different from any other book I have read on raw food and nutrition. It does away with the confusion on healthy eating and explains in easy to understand language what babies (and adults) need to eat to stay or become healthy. So the book does not only help me in preparing healthy food for the grandkids, it is also a great education on what I can do for my own health.
The extensive recipe section covers a full meal plan for the first year of the non-breastfed baby, all raw food recipes, that have been proven in Germany and Switzerland. There also is great information for nursing mothers such as when to add raw food with breastmilk. All other recipes can be shared by the whole family and the toddler. Once he is about a year old, no extra meals for the youngest are necessary.

I love this book.
I have been on 100% raw myself for over a year because of stomach pain I could not cure in any other way. I got rid of it on raw food, and I have never felt any better full of energy and healthy. So I am very happy there is a book that helps mothers to feed their kids right from the very beginning. Actually this book should be read by everyone interested in health.

The book advocates raw food from the first day of a baby's life. (The author emphasizes that breastmilk is raw food too, and it should be prefered over all other raw foods whenever possible.) All you need to know to do it right can be found in the book – recipes for the baby, detailed meal plans and tips, and lots of information. Best of all, the recommendations can be followed by the whole family, and once the baby is old enough to have solids, you no longer need to prepare much baby food. A guide to sustainable health for the whole family.

This is an amazing book.
My wife made me read it and I am sure happy I did. I have always been interested in nutrition and felt overwhelmed and confused by all the contradictory information around. After having read the book, I am amazed at how simple and easy healthy eating really is.
