Sandra Hoopes

I was born August 23, 1981 on what I call foreign American soil, which just means that I'm an Air Force brat. My mother is Korean and father is Caucasian. Sadly, I only know how to speak English. I went to college at the University of Central Florida in Orlando and got my BA in English Creative Writing in 2003, then applied to become an officer in the US Air Force, finally attending OTS in 2005. I remained in service until Mar 1, 2012 and wrote my first novel, "Original Cin," while I was deployed in Afghanistan. I chose to write a Young Adult novel, because I loved to read the quirky, cute and mostly supernatural stories. I have a dog named, Rex, and two cats, Drake and Tessa. I hope to open new worlds for my readers and hope they have an enjoyable read.
