​​​​​​​​​Borrowing the words of the great 21st century philosopher, Paul Simon....'Still crazy, after all these years.

I started to write on Nov 7, 2009. one week after having a heart incident, not a heart attack as the docs called it. My heart beat too fast. My co writer, who could barely walk due to lumbar spondylsis, managed to get me to the hospital in time by five minutes. It was like a slow motion movie. All I remember was her driving west on the sidewalks on Flamingo Avenue and the cops chasing us that dreadful Friday night. She saved my life. After that I started to have dreams, epic dreams I could recall in full color and stereo anytime I desired. Now there are forty three dreams down on paper and more waiting in the mind. Two of those dreams have been nominated for the 2017 Spur Awards with the Western Writers of America, so we will see. I don't know what writer's block is.

I want to thank my readers and fans who have followed my crazy imagination. I promise there will be more.

After creating eight science fiction tales alone with my late co writer, Marcia, that first year I discovered that no publisher wanted us. So I formed RER Publishing in Las Vegas. My son clued me in about Amazon Kindle and Createspace. Suddenly, royalty credits started to roll in. Marcia and I had worked together for decades. We saw no need to change that formula so we wrote every day and night, together because it was fun.

I lost her two years ago. That was a big major loss for RER Publishing. After going on a bender that would make the Bender Hall of Fame for Sin City, I sobered up, to some degree and climbed back in my writing saddle. Now my publishing company and I as a writer have been admitted to the Western Writers of America and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. Our last two tales, which were outlines Marsh left on her computer, have been nominated for Contemporary Novel for 2017 in two categories. I intend on chasing the Spur Award and Nebula Award in 2018.

I never dreamed I would be where I am today. My only regret is Marsh is missing all the fun.
