Grant Hutchison

Grant Hutchison was born in Dundee, and went to school and university in Dundee. Then he worked in Dundee. He has now retired to live in Dundee. (He once had a job in Perth, but he didn't like it, so he came home again.)

He has been roaming the Scottish Highlands on foot for fifty years, and has been writing about them for thirty.

In 1993, he concocted a comic story about a man who attempted to climb all the 3000-foot Scottish mountains listed in Munro's Tables ... in alphabetical order. More of the same followed, resulting in the book "Munro's Fables" and the e-books "The Complete Lachlan" and "The Walking Types Omnibus". The e-books have now been published together in a paperback compendium imaginatively entitled "The Complete Lachlan & Walking Types".
