This is the press release from "Big Top Andrew".

June 4, 2013 - Cheektowaga, NY -- Kids love stories and coloring, but these things can also help them learn. Children's author Keith White Jr.'s "Color-With-Me" series combines these elements in a way that will ignite the imaginations of children everywhere. His newest entry, Big Top Andrew, is now available.

The series began in an effort to cheer up the author's son Andrew after a rough year. White and his wife tried everything they could to boost the 10-year-old's confidence after a diagnosis revealed neurological problems and eyesight spells.

The parents concentrated their efforts into learning methods that would help improve Andrew's memory retention and test scores. They eventually found success, and the pure joy of seeing how proud Andrew was to earn his first perfect score on a spelling test inspired White to write his first title: Andrew and the Pirates.

The "Color-With-Me" basis of the books ties directly into the way Andrew learns. He can remember things more clearly when his brain sees different colors. Each chapter concludes with a black-and-white illustration for the child to color. White made each picture simple so that his son could also add his own background. The idea is that any child who reads and colors this book will be able to remember the story's details based on what they colored.

Big Top Andrew takes things a step further by making color suggestions in the actual story itself. For example, the story tells the child that a ninja is orange. This will inspire them to color the ninja in the picture orange, connecting information in the child's mind to cause further retention of details.

The "Color-With-Me" series is available now!
