Teddy C. Ryan III

Teddy C. Ryan III - is originally from Norfolk, Virginia, born in 1961, and currently lives in the Southeastern United States. He has a background in the field of education, is a retired Fire Fighter-EMT-Inspector (Reedy Creek Fire Services-Walt Disney World / Lake Buena Vista, FL), an entrepreneur, an artist, and has served The Lord in the ministry.

Recreationally, he was a SCUBA Divemaster and has travelled to many countries in pursuit of this pastime. He is now professionally retired and devotes much of his time to pursuing his goals as an Author.

Other than his formal education, with a basic degree in Education/Psychology and minor in Graphic Arts/Applied Arts; Teddy has received various Fire Science certifications as well as seminary training and pastoral internship certifications.

The latter led him to publishing his first set of books: 'Cooking with Christ - A Recipe for Spiritual Growth' and 'Cooking with Christ - Cookbook' (An actual cookbook based on healthy living, biblical meals and other recipes); which are available (paperback editions are currently under revision).

From his years at working in the Fire Service at Walt Disney World and his integration with Disney, Teddy also developed a keen interest in collecting Disneyana memorabilia (specifically Disney's own private currency, 'Disney Dollars'). After 20+ years of collecting 'Disney Dollars' and researching everything he could find and learn about Disney's currency from the 1930's forward, he finally compiled enough data to author his latest book: 'Disney NumisMagic - The Art and Magic of Collecting Disney Currency' (which is perfect for numismatists and Disneyana collectors alike).
