As a girl, I wrote down funny and inspiring things people said and doodled in the margins of my notebooks. I still do both. I like stories that make me laugh, cry, feel alive and want to live better.
I've written three books and published over 100 humor & inspirational columns in the Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, The Arizona Republic and The San Francisco Chronicle.
During the pandemic, I started drawing comics to lift my spirits and those of my closest friends and family. And this is how MissyAnnComics was born! MissyAnn can fit in the palm of your hand, speaks in haikus and is a handful of love. She shares wisdom I learned when I was recovering from PTSD... to hear more on that story, check out Get Savvy. And if you want to laugh and cry, try The Tiffany Box or Mother Advice. Please search for MissyAnnComics and enjoy! Thank you for reading my bio. I hope my work brings lightness to your day. Warmly, Kathleen
