Diane O'Brien is a recognized expert in the recruiting industry, and a trusted mentor to women wanting to become headhunting entrepreneurs.
She launched her first business in 2003, as CEO of her own private search firm, SalesSource Recruiting, where she specialized in six-figure searches. Over her career she has partnered with start-ups and Fortune 100 Companies, including GE Capital, GE Medical, Glaxo-SmithKline, Sonosite, Medtronic, Siemens, Hologic, Merge, E-Med, Naviscan, MarketBridge, Agilent, Kodak, Vaisala, Florida Power and Lighting, Solectria, NextEra, and IBM. In 2004, Diane was recognized in the INC Magazine article, “The Ultimate Sales Force,” for her expertise in hiring high commissioned sales and management teams. In 2008, she was interviewed by ABC News for her early use of "Video Interviewing," and continues her work as a Business Development Consultant in Talent Acquisition.
Diane holds a BS in Business Administration, and a minor in Marketing from York College. Her passion continues to be mentoring women and students, to help them achieve their career goals, as well as working with executives to attract better talent and improve their hiring process. She is also a trusted mentor to students at Bryn Mawr College.
