Michael Horvath

MICHAEL HORVATH was born in Akron, Ohio, in 1953, where he later made his first million (marks on a wall--an installation drawing at the University of Akron's Davis Gallery.) The recipient of several grants, and contributor to various midwest arts publications, he came to New York in 1984 as a PS1 Studio Artist and works for a major New York gallery as Associate Director. After running out of space in his first studio (the big bedroom), Horvath took up writing. Brighter Graphite: Two Novellas is his first book. He is currently finishing a novel and working on several short stories.
