中華民國對外貿易發展協會（簡稱外貿協會或貿協）由經濟部於結合民間工商團體設立之公益性財團法人，以協助業者拓展對外貿易。目前，本會擁有600多位訓練有素的貿易專才，除台北總部外，設有新竹、台中、台南及高雄等4個國內辦事處和遍佈全球近50個駐外據點，另相繼設立台灣貿易中心、台北世界貿易中心等姐妹機構，形成完整的貿易服務網，是業者拓展貿易的最佳夥伴。

Jointly sponsored by the ROC government, industry associations, and various commercial organizations, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the foremost non-profit organization, was founded in 1970 to promote Taiwan's international trade. TAITRA helps Taiwanese businesses and manufacturers to gain international competitiveness as well as to cope with the challenges they face in the global markets.

TAITRA has a well-coordinated trade promotion network of over 600 trained specialists stationed in the Taipei headquarters, four local branch offices in Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung, and over 48 overseas branch offices worldwide. Coordinating with its sister organizations, Far East Trade Services, Inc. (FETS) and Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), TAITRA aims to create a solid web of global trade opportunities through its effective marketing and service strategies for Taiwanese businesses.
