Roy Sugarman

I use my skills as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist with clients who wish to optimize their bodies and brains, using lessons learned from the peak athletes I have worked with. My work covers peak performance, as well as helping trainers and coaches better motivate their clients to adopt positive health behaviors, and stick to them! Most of my early decades in the workplace were in rehabilitation of severe brain injury, where I found an integrated approach to both body and brain, diet and movement, positivity and motivational science helped patients reach their life goals and repair the damage. The same rules apply to ordinary folk who want to improve their lives and have more energy to get through the modern work and play day. The rot starts early in life, and although we think we are relatively healthy, modern life plays havoc with our genes if we let it, so the lessons in my book apply to young people too.

I live and work in Sydney Australia, as well as Scottsdale Arizona, with Athletes Performance USA, and their corporate and military arms. I have spent time with the USA National Men's Soccer Team, and with collegiate and pro athletes worldwide in helping them think big and reach their life goals. I practice what I preach, and the little things I do that make a big difference are things you can do too!
