Diane Van der Westhuizen

I write because I have to. It's the only way I know to stay sane in an insane world. It is in writing that I have come to find things I didn't know I knew, and to make sense of the senseless.

I've published three books to date: a collection of short stories - Chilli Bites, Revenge, a Dish Best Served Cold, Wild Avengers and The Seagull and the Sheikh.

I am currently writing Delicious Monsters, a book that is writing itself, somehow. It's a whimsical story about a magical garden, a little old lady who delights in visits from those who have 'crossed over', and a young girl whose mind is transformed by magic and monsters.
