In the late 1940's nearly a million men and women returned home at the conclusion of the Second World War with an altered and new perspective on life. They gave birth to a generation that launched some of the most turbulent times in America during the 20th century from drugs; free love, an unwinnable war in South East Asia and a cold war destine to destroy the world we knew. A time of unrest and fear led this new breed to launch into a social experiment that altered the nation forever and thrust us towards the upheaval of a value system we had come to know and live by. The effects of this manifesto are being felt even today thirty years later. Born in the early 1950's BK was raised in a blue collar family located in a classic suburban neighborhood outside of Boston by older parents firmly guided by a value system instilled in their parents' decades earlier. An honest and brutal assessment of his life in love, drugs, violence and misdeeds over the course of five decades growing up a dangerous America.
